Through storytelling and solo dance performances (by speaker), Danny is able to immediately CONNECT with and garner the students’ attention and trust. This sets the foundation for the second step of the assembly: ENGAGE.
Danny leads a series of dance movement and choreography (with music) to help students get out of their comfort zones and connect with their classmates. Positive energy, connection, and peak state are created and each student is able to ENGAGE and interact with the presentation.Teachers also learn the dancers and perform (voluntarily) during the presentation.
Messaging is carefully crafted with the types of assemblies (below) and are specialized with the meeting planners and stakeholders of each school. Danny ensures the messages hithome with the students and staff members. Each presentation assembly is designed for each school demographics and socioeconomic status. As a former school teacher, Danny excels at teaching and instilling the message where students can walk away and be inspired to ACT upon them.
After graduating from Diamond Bar High School, this Filipino-American born became a dance choreographer for the Los Angeles Laker Girls. In 1994, he created Team Millennia (TM), a collegiate hip-hop dance team while studying Business Administration at Cal State University,Fullerton (CSUF) and later received his Single Subject Teaching Credential at CSUF. After teaching high school mathematics for 8 years, he became the manager of the Poreotics Dance Crew (America’s Best Dance Crew Season 5 champions), traveling the world, gaining experiences,which would eventually lead to his desire to ‘pursue his purpose’ through a movement called “Happiness is NOW.’
The Happiness is NOW Experience (HINx) is in its 11th year of existence and soon to spread to over 600+ elementary, middle, high schools, and conferences throughout California and North America.
